What’s everybody’s favorite garage game? Table tennis! Starting after labor day, Engineering teacher Dave Powell will be forming a Table Tennis club.

The club is set to meet after school on Tuesdays from 3:15-5:30. The idea for the club started last school year when Powell would challenge students to table tennis matches during Cav Time.

When asked about his motives for starting the club, Powell said, “It’s a good activity to burn off some steam… and I like beating students, eh”

Powell hopes to compete with other high schools who also have table tennis clubs as well as Tennessee Tech’s Table Tennis club.
