Predictions for the upcoming NBA championship

The NBA season is just now getting into the swing of things and let me give you a few predictions for who will make a run at the title this season. I also will give a few teams that could make a push at the title if they make a piece at the trade deadline.

The obvious pick is the Lakers. I mean come on they made great moves during the offseason and won the title last year, while being the best team at the beginning of the season this year. Another obvious pick is the Nets, they got KD and Kyrie back healthy this season and just traded for James Harden. A few more teams that can make a run at the title this season include the Bucks, Celtics, Clippers, and Suns. These teams might win the title but I would still say the main favorites are the Nets and Lakers.

A few teams that need a piece or two or that should maybe trade a big piece would be the 76ers, Nuggets, Jazz, Raptors, Mavericks, and Heat. These teams all need another piece to become spurious contenders or in the case of the 76ers they need to move a piece for a fresh and new start.

The 76ers should trade Ben Simmons as the combo of him and Joel Embiid is just not going to win a title and they should look to trade him. They tried to get James Harden for him, but the deal fell short and Harden was traded to the Nets. I think the 76ers should trade for a guy like Bradely Beal for Simmons as the Wizards would get a fresh start like they need and the 76ers would become a serious contender as the combo of Embiid and Beal would be deadly.

Beal would also be a great fit on the Heat or Raptors. As for the Mavs I think a guy like Zach Lavine would be great for them as they need a piece that can and will play off the ball. The Jazz and Nuggets would both be a great landing spot for Blake Griffin and maybe Derrick Rose if he would come off the bench for the Nuggets.

Overall I think the NBA will have a wonderful season this year and can not wait to see how it ends. I predict for now a Lakers vs. Nets NBA finals in which the Lakers win in 6 games.
